☆ Principles of Addition ☆
” And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1: 5-8 KJV
We are purposed to grow in the knowledge and love of Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ but we must first believe in Him. We must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Are you seeking Him? Is the measure of your faith growing or diminishing?
Try adding according to the Word of God. Above all you must be diligent. You cannot serve to masters, you cannot be all wrapped up in self and the world and when it comes to God barely seek Him on Sunday, never pray in public over your food. EVERY WORD that comes out of your mouth is a curse word, that is really not a curse word because you didn’t mean it that way. You cannot act Christian as like its a role in Days of Our Lives and live like everyday’s a party in 1999.
