“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” Psalms 73:26 KJV
God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
Take a moment and read through this 73rd song of David. It will enlighten you. Sometimes in this world we all get a little and even alot frustrated, angry and sometimes down right nasty over people who have wealth. We dislike how they act, things they say, what is seems they could do with all the extra money, how much of a difference, how many lives could change, how greedy and selfish it seems. Knowing this we almost never look at our own selfish desires.we never look at our faults, we never look at our beliefs, our values, our faith and our persecution as the difference of life eternal with God over a life eternal in hell.
We are never complete and always want more. Yet here in verse 26 we read even in imperfection God must become our strength, God must become our everything, we must depend on, call too, hope for, reach out, seek out, cry out too…God as complete, as our portion to be one. Forever. We must seek Him to avoid the world destruction as this body will get old, it will break, get infected, diseased, crumble and go back to the earth created from but our spirit, our being must go on.
Where will your spirit find rest? God is my strength and my portion for ever!
