Humble not High

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6 KJV

I know you want to be grown and do thing all by yourself; you want to be considered a big person, an adult, no longer a child yet there are things you desparately need to know about life that you just cannonball your way in not realizing the ripple effect it has. We tend to do things for all the wrong reasons simply to have the world, a frienemy, a thought or prove a paraticular action we commit. We constantly strive to out do competitively, financially and become better than the person beside us, we are constantly trying to prove to ourself how important we are thus proving to other how important we are to the world. Always waiting for the opportune time to make history and always trying to exhalt ourselves at the expense of others. I am surprised we sometimes merely don’t float away at the size of our ego.

Humilty, the act of being humble as defined by not being proud or haughty: not arrogant or assertive; reflecting, expressing, or offered in a spirit of deference or submission

you are not GOD nor are you god over other people. Be teacheable, study the Word of GOD, find a place of worship that speaks and teaches Biblical principles not beat you over the head with them as you see all hell running in the midst. Let the Word and power of GOD through baptism, salvation and His HOLY SPIRIT raise you beyond the standards the world has set. For in due season, when it is the right time, when GOD has allowed things to come upon you and pruned off and harvested the good fruit from you then get ready to be exhaulted higher…
