“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7 : 14 KJV
~Humble yourself and pray~
this verse is one that’s familiar to all, one of the first verses one memorizes. It could be because its a song and the version has been sung by a few artists, it could be simply because is rather easy to learn by living. It is a message often preached in many churches, by many pastors.
Our humility is a reflection of the call placed on our life and our prayers are the acceptance of the call and complete acceptance of the responsibility that lies within. For praying always without ceasing causing one to seek GOD, causing a desire to have a face to face, causing us to turn away from self and look to finding what GOD’S plan is in humility.
We then have the ability to hear the voice of GOD from the still ness that comes from the knowledge of GOD is the I AM…we seek the relationship and are given power from within, a peace and joy to ever press through and understand love is Who? not What?
