Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13 NIV
In order to bear with we need to endure for, the journey we take in life is oftentimes shared with someone, friends, family, a husband or wife of our chosing but in order to get over the bumps and bruises, the scrapes and falls, we need to understand that endurance leads to love and love allows forgiveness. We are not perfect, we make mistakes, we hurt one another while trying to understand one another. Do not simply give up on one another, hold on through the pressing, the rope is not broken another weight or anchor has been introduced causing more pressure build up to break the weak points…don’t allow words spoken by other people to come out of your mouth to destroy tour marriage.
If you speak something someone else gives you, ensure they build your spouse, bring you and your spouse closer together and not tear them apart, create trust issues or cause you not to forgive. If someone elses words cause you to see your spouse differently or only the negative; you need to find a new person to listen too. Marriages are always built they are not supposed to be destroyed, decayed or corrupted.
May this word encourage, exalt and comfort each and everyone of you today, in Jesus Name.
