~Vain Repetition~

~Vain Repetition~

“but when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not you therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things ye have need of, before you ask Him.” Matthew 6:7, 8

Review this chapter as it is broken down like this; first Jesus gives us instructions on how to give, how to pray and how not to pray, Jesus then give us a prayer to follow as the example, we refer to as ‘the LORD’s Prayer’ JESUS then instructs how prayer is answered through forgiveness and what we carry in our heart even when we say we forgive how it is not always necessarily true…Glory to Your Name!!
Jesus speaks then on fasting, its purpose and secrecy as unto God. The transition then goes into building treasure, and what we hold to as earthly treasure. JESUS speaks that where we hold the worth of treasure also plays an important role in our mind as we deal with being wishy washy, double minded, worried and anxious for people see you, you must not become mixed with vain repetition for it hinders your giving, prayer, hearing, speaking, worth, gifts, treasure, mind, heart…Jesus ends the chapter by saying, “take no thought for tomorrow because tomorrow takes care of itself you have enough evil, problems, situations of the day to do” do the work of the day. Seek Him right now! Do your portion, pray, fast, store up eternally and don’t be so consumed with today’s millions and give up heavens mansion. That will preach, “Today’s Million for Heaven’s Mansion”

Be Encouraged
